DR. DAVE MARSHALL'S TENNIS ADVANTAGE
RELOCATES TO LEWES' PLANTATIONS TENNIS CENTER

LEWES, DE – Dr. Dave Marshall, known for the award-winning national tennis program he developed, has relocated from Sea Colony to the Plantations Tennis Center in the Rehoboth/Lewes, Delaware area.

“This is an excellent opportunity for me to continue developing top flight players and to build a club from the ground up,” Marshall said.

“I want to thank the Sea Colony homeowners, Board and General Manager for allowing me to be a part of their community for 29 terrific years,” he continued. “Together we were able to create a Top Ten Tennis magazine resort, and produce many champions.”

Dave Marshall has coached six national champions, one NCAA champion, 150 college players and has won three national championships with his Delaware team. His award-winning program includes full-service lessons, mini-camps, and junior and adult clinics, among others. Marshall will continue to run tennis programs at Ocean Pines, Bethany Lakes, Bear Trap Dunes, Shawnee Country Club and Iggy Hall, among other locations.

Both a high school (Milford) and college champion, Marshall now coaches the men’s and women’s teams at his alma mater Washington College in Chestertown, Maryland. Marshall earned his PhD in Education from Wilmington College.

Marshall is an owner of the Plantations Tennis Center and the Clubhouse at The Plantations, located at 18464 Plantations Boulevard, Lewes, Delaware. The facility features the only indoor courts between Dover and Bethany Beach, plus both clay and deco turf us open courts. In addition to tennis, the Clubhouse has a state-of-the-art fitness center with the only public ROM machine in Delaware, Zumba, ballroom dancing and martial arts (self defense) classes, public pool, and coming in the fall, Bikram (hot) Yoga.
